This review is long overdue but it needs to be said that three years ago we had the absolute best experience in purchasing our bedroom suite. We shopped around for months but nothing met our expectations until McCleary’s. Aside from the the fact that our suite is a beautiful handmade-in-BC unit, it arrived on December 24th and was delivered by our salesman because one of the delivery men was unavailable last minute. When we purchased our affordable suite we were assured we would have it by Christmas and they certainly kept their word. We can’t say enough about our great experience. We extend our thanks to the staff for going beyond expectations and wish this family business continued success! Buy local!

The staff at McCleary’s are all friendly. Our salesman Cam was professional and knowledgeable. We had an issue with the manufacturer and Tanya worked directly with them and provided great customer service to guarantee satisfaction. We appreciated that they were very patient with us and understanding about the issue and worked in our favour to resolve it. They sell Canadian made furniture and the quality is upper end for reasonable prices!

We are building a house and looking for a bunch of new furniture. McLeary’s was recommended by a friend and does not disappoint! We were assisted by Russ who is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He helped without ‘selling’ which of course sold us, not only on the furniture, but the experience at the store. I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to share what a positive experience I had picking my couch today. I came in with many ideas about what I wanted – I am going for a (beachy, light and airy vibe) and the person helping me really took the time to ensure I explored my options and chose the right fabric and model of couch that suited my style and fit with my space. I was intimidated at first by doing custom furniture, but I have never had a furniture shopping experience that was as thorough, where I felt more looked after and where I felt more confident in the end result. I’m happy! Just received my new dining room set and it is gorgeous. Cam was really, really helpful in every way while I hemmed and hawed, changed my mind, changed it again, tried this combination, then that one. Professional throughout the entire indecision on my part, Cam patiently answered all my questions and gave very good suggestions of things that maybe I should be thinking about. Not even a hint of anything like hard sell. Cam’s style was very relaxed with an honest ‘no hurry’ attitude. Not only Cam, but all staff members I had interaction with, whether in person or on the phone, were very respectful and personable. And also furniture is Canadian, much of it made locally in BC! You can’t beat that!
