We have ordered a number of furniture pieces from McLeary’s over the past year and have been very impressed with the service and quality. The staff know their products, no high pressure sales tactics and we appreciate their commitment to support BC and Canadian manufacturers exclusively. We live a day’s drive from the lower mainland and McLeary’s contract delivery services were professional and on time. Whether dealing in person, by phone or by email McLeary’s staff were courteous and kept us updated from order through to delivery. After many frustrating days of not being listened to while shopping at the big box furniture stores, we were beyond delighted at the service we received at Mcleary’s Furniture store. We were greeted by Cam upon entering the store and asked if we needed assistance. After hearing we were interested in looking at mattresses Cam walked us over to the bedding section, gave a brief description of our mattress options and then gave us time alone to check out our preferences. There was no pressure, no sense of being rushed. Periodically Cam checked in with us to answer any questions we had and then continued to give us space to try each mattress. We were so impressed at the quality of service we received, we went on to look at couches, which we needed, but had no intention of purchasing at that time. We visited the store three times before making the decision to purchase a mattress and two couches. Each time we were welcomed back, asked if we needed assistance, answered our questions professionally and patiently and we were left to browse as long as we wanted. When it came time to choose the material for the couches, Cam was very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. We left the store feeling we were listened to and will be well looked after should any issues arise. On the day of delivery there was an unexpected delay. Jim, the delivery driver, called us a couple of times to give us updates on the expected time of arrival. Who does that in this day and age? He and his assistant set up the bed, placed the couches where we wanted them and took time the explain the mechanics of each item. Every staff member we encountered in this family run business from start to finish was polite, considerate, professional and gave the impression they genuinely care. We bought a good quality love seat through McLeary’s and we love it. Unfortunately there was a problem with one of the arms where there wasn’t enough padding. The company that made the love seat had Cal from Fibrenew come to assess the situation. He spent hours dismantling the love seat but unfortunately the end result was not acceptable. He sent a report to McLeary’s and we didn’t even have to call them. We got a phone call straight away from Tanya and were told that they had already ordered us a new love seat. We couldn’t believe it. We were so pleased with Lisa’s help when we were selecting the furniture and with Tanya handling the problem in such a timely professional manner. We would highly recommend McLeary’s for quality furniture and excellent service. Thanks so much!

Great company! We just retired and moved here from Ontario. We researched furniture stores before we came here and wanted a store that catered to Canadian and as much local products as possible. We were not disappointed. On our visit last summer we stopped in the store to check items we were interested in. Our sales person Lisa was fantastic and so accommodating! Before we moved here we kept in touch with Lisa who helped us with all our questions and order. After many months of waiting for our new home to be completed we are excited to have our new home & furniture next week! A huge thank you to Lisa and all who accommodated all our needs!

I’ve had issues with a mattress I puchased and feel it’s possibly a manufacturing defect? McLeary’s has looked into the issue and have more than rectified the situation which I am so grateful for. Thank you Rick & Glenn for all your help to resolve this issue!

Fantastic company! Friendly and helpful staff, and outstanding customer service. The bookshelf I purchased was of wonderful quality. The sales member was so patient with me, helping guide me through all the different stain options. He really took his time, it was clear he enjoyed his job. The bookshelf was exactly as advertised. Solid wood and of superior quality. If you are looking for excellent product, at a fair price, look no further. When we next need furniture, we will absolutely be back.
