I had been shopping for a Hide-a-bed. My search began at the major department stores. However, we did not find anything that suited our needs. In the subsequent search, I discovered Mcleary’s Furniture. Glenn at Mcleary’s, was great to work with, he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He worked with my requests and was never in a rush to make a sale. He and I went over all the relevant details of a floor model hide-a-bed. I quickly found a suitable hide-a-bed. It was great that we could actually choose from dozens of different styles of fabrics and colours! After a couple of follow up visits, we purchased a high quality “custom made” hide-a-bed for less money than any other store. It was well worth the wait for the piece of furniture to be constructed. Mcleary’s definitely carries well constructed furniture at reasonable prices. Glenn and the delivery staff at Mcleary’s did a great job. We recently purchased a quality custom sectional from McLeary’s. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in. Great staff and thankfully there was no presssure. We were given lots of information and were happy to learn that the product was locally made! Unfortunately the fabric we chose took longer than expected to come in, but we were kept up-to-date with the progress. We can’t say enough about the customer service from both Russ and Tanya! The bonus was we dealt with a family run local business and the quality manufacturer was also local. This was our first experience with McLeary’s and will continue to deal with them in the future! Way to go!

What a great store. It’s nice to know they stock Canadian furniture products, shopping and supporting local manufacturers helps our economy. The sales people are non-commission so I didn’t feel any pressure to buy, the salesperson was very helpful. We love our new bedroom suite and super comfortable mattress. Well done!

What a fun experience shopping here! I had a really helpful woman named Kim help me out. I did not even know what I was looking for and it was like she was in my mind. Super knowledgeable, so creative, and where I lacked with imagination and vision she was right there piecing it together for me. The store itself was well organized and clean.. so important for these covid times. I felt safe browsing in it, a huge plus. I’m glad I went here and not online.
